zender spoiler

Mk campaign came fitted with a genuine zender tailgate spoiler,as im restoring the golf do I keep it or fill the holes and junk it, well sell it on e-bay.
I am unsure on this as it is a period modification, and i actualy quite like it.
Its the spoiler that goes at the top of the tailgate,i last saw one on the old peach VR6 awsome mk1 back in the day.
What does everybody think? :?

It's not my personal favourite spoiler (had one on my last MK1), but the work involved in removing it would put me off doing so!!

MK1 GTI Campaign
MK2 GTI 8v
Imitation Magic Tree - 'Black Ice' smell
Plenty of rust
Embarrasing fuel problem
Porous cooling system!

I personally like the zender roof spoilers - and think they are in keeping with the 80's style.

Yes its a 3 piece spoiler,Zender in good condition with all the bung's. But it is fitted with self tappers,so don't think I will put it back on.
So yes it is for sale or swaps.
I have no idea what it is worth or indeed what I will swap it for,so any offers?

Rear Spoiler

I have one of these Zender spoilers, just didn't fancy drilling the holes in my tailgate, so i picked up a Kamei one, this uses clips which go under the window rubber, looks V similer to a MK2 GTi hatch spoiler.

I've got the three piece one on mine and quite like it. Decided to keep it when I replaced my tailgate in the summer. Problem was that I only had to replace the tailgate in the first place because whoever fitted the spoiler originally didn't seal the screw holes properly. Water got in followed by the old rust worm   This time I did the job properly. The guys at vw must have thought the GTI needed a spoiler, hence the standard one on the mk2.
