Will a 1272 MH engine from a 1987 coupe s fit straight in?

As per the title really, will a 1272 MH engine from a 1987 coupe s fit straight in my driver?  My engines gone so looking at other 1.3's to put in it.

besides your question,if your on about the polo coupe s engine the best mod you can do to this engine from experience would be a ashley 4-2-1 manifold,transforms the engine so much

pretty certain the plol and golf 1.3 are the same engine, fitment wise. i think the plol gt had a bit more poke to it though.?
