Which shocks with eibach springs?

Hi, i need to replace the stock shock absorbers but i'm undecided as to what to go for, the car is a 1983 gti and was fitted with 30mm Eibach lowering springs by the previous owner.

Any suggestions

Cheers

yesterday i just fitted boge turbo shocks to mine with eibach springs all seems good so far but not done much driving and its not set up properly as yet, but have heard they are vey good for the money and alot of peoples first choice. or you coud go for the more pricey koni ones they are adjustable i think too!

Koni and eibach is the normal combo, not cheap but definately best quality

I can really recommend the Koni top adjustable dampers, but it's cheaper to buy the whole kit (i.e. Koni dampers and springs) than the dampers on their own.

I think I paid about ?400 for the whole set, but you may be able to sell the springs on for ?50ish.

Koni and eibach are a fantastic combination, used them on my rallye.  I also used Bilstein and Eibach on my mk4 and very pleased as Bilstein are available from Euro Car Parts and not as expensive,

It is a personal thing but determined mainly by budget, good luck, and let us know your decission. :D

Boge and bilstein are what i had in mind, didn't want adjustable as the 30mm lowered ride height is just right on my g60 steels. Budget is an issue too so didn't want to spend too much.

I had Koni shocks and springs all round on my mk2 16v but they were far to stiff and bumpy, held the road well though.

Thanks for the response, i will make a decision soon as
