which bike carbs?

I'm in need of some bike carbs for my 1.8 16v project.

I'm not sure which bike to get them off.

Would a set off a 600 bike be ok or does it need to be 1000+?

Why Bike carbs why not the real deal car ones specificly designed for cars is you engine ready for carbs most importantly

Me and my mate have both used gsxr 600 carbs, although they are both fitted to small block engines. Basically get anything from 600cc to 1000+, they can all be jetted to suit. Venturi size isnt such a precise requirement, they all have vacuum controlled flaps which adjust air flow.

38 mikunis from a gsxr or 42 mikunis from it's big brother.

although i agree with mr diggler up there. why not use carbs designed for it?

I dont want to use car carbs mainly because of price and the fact that alot of people tell me they go out of tune more quickly than the bike carbs so will require setting more often. Also there isn't really much difference between performance.

Think I'll go with zx9r. alot of people have mentioned these or maybe R1's.
