where or whats best?
Ive just introduced my self in the newbie section, me and my dad just got a B reg mk1 convertible with what looks like a front splitter underneath and basic plastic bumpers.
We want a bodykit but nothing ott or wild etc, but something like what you see on later mk1's (I hope you understand?), the question is, where and what will you suggest i should get it? It has its original alloy wheels to match.
Thanks for your help!
p.s. I shall try and get a pic on asap of what its like!

We know what you mean. With it being an early Cab, you've got the small bumpers and chin spoiler like all the Mk1 tintops had. Later Cabs have colour coded big bumpers and side skirts/arches like this :
Is that the sort of kit you're after? Someone might be selling a kit in the For Sale section, and put a Parts Wanted post up if you like. Someone else may know where else you might find a kit.

^^ known as the clipper kit, make sure you go genuine VAG. steer clear of the fibreglass jobbers not good quality!
for something a bit more old skool, how about a BBS kit:
