whats the biggest size wheel I can get away with without rolling the arches?

you can put 17`s on a mk1 as long as they arent too wide…..no wider than 6 1/2 j with a 195 width tyre……but 17`s dont really look right in my opinion……..should be left to the corsa boys :wink:

7j 15s look superb on a mk1 in my opinion, ATS, Ronal Turbos etc, but the best wheel of all has got to be the original mk2 and mk1 sportline BBS RA alloys, or a set of G60 RM`s they just suit the car perfectly imo

I have 17x7's on my tintop and it was down around 60/70mm no rolled arches but have a clipper kit on so not sure if they makes a diff.

What size is it that your thinking of fitting?
