They will fit fine but will stick out slightly more than the 'proper' offset VW wheels (which is 35-38). The lower the number, the more they'll stick out. Conversely, higher offset wheels (such as those designed for a Vauxhall - ET 49 or so) will sit inside the arches more. Low ET's and you risk hitting the arch lips, and high ET's risk fouling the suspension or rubbing the front inner wings on full lock. Effects (problems) are more so if the car is lowered. Running 195 45 can help with low ET numbers, but unless your car is very low, you should be OK with the wheels you mention.
