Wheel Wobble

Hi can anyone help.
I have a g reg 1990 mK1 Clipper convertible and it drives lovely but the steering seems to be loose although I have had a mechanic check it and it all seems to be OK. I thnk it maybe a wheel bearing but we just cant find out why its wobbling.

Anyone any ideas

Could be a wheel itself. I'd check that they're balanced and that all pressures are correct.

It could also be worn track rod ends - worth checking.

what wheels are on it most aftermarket ones need spiggot rings to stop wheel wobble

Mine had this problem before, well what i thought was wheel wobble, when i moved my steering wheel left to right it felt really loose. It turned out to be the steering rack , so replaced it and is fine now.

hi, what speed do you get the problem? could be tyre out of shape?

sounds like ur wheels need ballancing to me
