Wheel Spacers

I'd like to space my Pirelli wheels a bit to give the car a squat stance, it's gonna have standard arches, how thick do I go (and on which tyres?)

depends on the ride height of your car mate, i have put spacers on rear for 195's so it clears rear suspension, are they 14" pirellis?  is your car lowered loads? the front wheels shouldnt need spacers if they are 185's as they look puffed out already but you see cars in shows etc that are very pushed out at rear, dont forget you will need wheelnuts to suit

I've not lowered it at all yet but I will, not decided on the drop either.
I'd like the wheel to be straight down from the edge of the arch instead of inset as standard. I'm not trying to do a roller skate thing! Yeah the Pirellis are 14's.

I'd be interested in hearing peoples opinions on lowering and spacing to get the best look and performance on 14 and 15 wheels.

if you have 185 pirellis they are wide enough to fill the arch when lowered, if you want to drop it to arch you are looking at -60 mm springs/set-up, 35/40 leave a gap but have much better ride quality, if you go for 60 mil drop might be best getting some decent inserts/absorbers, im no mechanic and im using guestimates, from 40mm boges, 60 mm pi' springs. the 60 mil pi springs on standard shocks was v.low but no quality but would be on decent inserts/absorbers, but the other kits i have had 40 mm ish' were a nicer all round combination and cheap too, but didnt look as good, let me know if you need any suspension
