Wheel Help

Hi all im a new member just purchased a rather nice 1992 mk1 clipper cab the only down side is someone has put 17s on it and it looks horrible. So my first job is the wheels i know i sould go originall and really do fancy some nice split bbs just finding the right pair. Anyawy my question is, im thinking about either some ats cups 7x15 or some borbet A 7.5 x 15 i hink these would look nice, do u think they will fit ok ?

any help would be great

Thanks

7X15 is no bother as long as you stick with an offset of around ET30 to ET25. Are you sure the borbets are 7.5 inch wide? I didn't know you could get half inch increments! Even so - should be ok.

I've been looking at a Set of ATS classics

7x13 with an offset of ET20.. would these be ok? also, looking at prices, how much would you expect to pay for a set (4)?

Don't mean to steal the tread, just seems kinda relivent

ET20 means they are going to stick out a bit. You will need quite a narrow tyre stretched onto them to avoid arch rubbing. You will also need to lower the car A LOT to avoid the 4x4 look.

Will look something like this…
(Think these may have been 8x13's but you get the idea! look how much the front rim sticks out beyond the arch…)
