whats the best bike carbs for 1.8 16v kr

i have a mk1 with a 1.8 16v kr engine in it and it has a problem with its k-jet so am looking into putting bike carbs on it instead but dont know witch bike carbs are best or what size, for example 600cc ones or 1000cc?? honda or suzuki?

Seen plenty on600cc I.e cbr, I've just picked up a set of 600 srad carbs for mine.

Depends what you can get cheaper cause there going for a fortune at min!

Could always try GSX-R SRAD carbs from a 600, or maybe SRAD ones from an earlier 750, a WW (about 1998) might be worth a looking at…  :redfaced:

will they have the right fueling for the kr ?? or will i have to change the fueling jets

I've just got gsxr srad 600 carbs, the main jets need re jetting to 180 jets that's all.

do the zzr1100 carbs need rejetting ?

theres no restrictions running carbs,and yes they pull like a steam train,i will have a look the week end,at jet sizes,lol

Bike carbs will need rejetting, though what to, i am not sure. Sorry i be of more help!

If money's tight, make your own manifold, can get mild steel kit on eBay for around £40, buy some micro drills and and re drill the jets? It's only the main jet, there's three in there.

You should when drilled out get an idea of too little too much. But a rolling road would be ideal for tweaking.

Maybe better trying to find a set te jetted on a mani, could be a while but save you the messing.

You would also need either the bikes pump or a facet pump and fuel pump regulator.

All things to consider as its not just get bike carbs and slap em on kinda thing.
