What 20vt engine code

Hi folks, just a quickie what vw/audi 20vt engine code is easyest to fit??? i know none are easy but as far as fuel lines etc.

any tips on were to buy from

AGU=150bhp or BAM=225bhp altho only differences are management and turbo so makes no difference really, make sure from a front wheel drive car i bought one from a rear wheel drive first and not easy altho cheaper not worth hassel

thats based on my experience with my 1.8t mk1 AGU

agu and aeb are large port head, agu is found in mk4 golf and audi a3, aeb found in passat and a4 and uses the same basic block design as the mk1 engine so your existing engine side mount will bolt on, you need to change the crankshaft pulley for one from an abf same with the alternator bracket and alternator, change the sump for a steel one like your golf sump but add an oil return but these engines are getting on now, personally i would go for the auq engine as they where still used up to 2005 and can be had with sensible mileage, you can bolt on the agu or aeb throttle body to get cable throttle but will need to fabricate a bracket to bolt to the inlet manifold but really if your doing the conversion this is a small easy job to do
