I know a man who's selling a complete, running 16v engine with a turbo already fitted. (options of 0.9-1.1 bar boost)
Its the Turbotechnics pack 3 option, (which is the best one, comes with the forged rods etc…)

You need a turbo-technics manifold (which they dont make anymore!) which is nice!

I was looking to get myself, but going down another route now.

I think he was looking for ?600

I have Audi s2 Turbo conrods forsale, plus I also own a 16vt engine myself, thats running 240bhp at the wheels and more to come yet.

I could also get you some pistons with the rods at an extra price, included with brand new turbo piston rings.

cheers

As I understand things, the hardest bit is fabricating the inlet manifold and possibly the exhaust manifold and downpipes, because nobody does them 'off the shelf'. The natural choice is aluminium alloy for the inlet mani and stainless steel for the exhaust, so that means TIG welding.

Other than that, its just a case of searching around to find which parts go together, a couple of tubes of rubber, bunch of custom hoses, etc etc

I've got a 16v inlet manifold for a 16v turbo conversion. Worked well on last car but no use now as cars having huge engine upgrade (S4 twin Turbo) ?50 + carraige
