V6 4 MOTION / Anniversary Exhaust on a MK1

my mates got a v6 4 motion rear exhaust sittin at home think it would make a difference on a mk1??? and looks good?

The exhausts on mk4's are transversely mounted????? on a mk1 the back box is longitudinally mounted. So if you do get it to fit it would look naff and probably restrict the performance.

If you want a decent performance exhaust or just a back box go for something like a jetex or supersprint. You can find such items on ebay at a resonable price.

I think Kins is right as the time and effort spent to make it fit your better off buying one made for the mk1. Unless you were thinking of cutting off the end and welding it to your original box??? but again could look a bit naff. Power flow exhausts make custom pipes however you want so they could possibly make a repilca for you ?
