i had 195/45/13's dunlops on my ats classics, but because of the size of the profile they make it an expensive tyre.
plus not many people stock them, i no mini coopers run them on theyre rims, (oldskool minis) so might be worth getting on a mini online shop?? something like minisport or something?

i always have the last laugh ;)

Although personally i think they are too small i know a 175/50 by 13 size tyre are quite popular on the rim size you mention.

Izan said

i have 205/60/13 on mine now.Yes they are huge.

If i was to have  175/50/13's would that make the ride stupidly harsh and also would they be so stretched the handling would be really poor.
I can get those size in Yokohoma quite cheap due to contacts but there isnt much point if they arent going to do me any favours when i fit them.

Thanks guys

John

Some say that 175 50 13 can pop off. Think someone off here has had it happen to them.

Very popular mod to old skool cortinas on 7x13 superlites which are used for racing!

Just fitted some to my banded steels which are 8x13. went on with no problems what so ever, so can't see why they should pop off as long as you use the correct pressures.

To be honest i cant see them doing much for ride quality but shouldn't be to bad.

They are Dunlop SP's which i'm using.

Cheers,
Rob.
