ok sum may entertain this (low budget peolpe lol) but others are going to say 1.8t 20v all the way, but tried and tested i have a diesel turbo mounted on a jetta manifold, an r5 gt turbo carb moded to fit the inlet all pipes oil feeds etc, this is all on a 1.8 driver wait for it, without any low compression ahhhhhhhh i her ha ha it works ok but when boost comes in feck me theres no gearbox n clutch left, we tried a diesel box and uprated clutch but this just got an extra week or so any clues for a stronge clutch and box many thanks mike.

Can you clarify the performance gains in real world measures (comparative 1/4 mile times, dyno plot of power showing % gain) rather than words?
