I was trying to find out what will i have to do about the lack of a knock sensor on the 2 lt engine code AAC ,will it upset the ecu if its not plugged into the loom?

These conversions are very lazy with a narrow torque band. You are better off converting using pistons, rods and crank for a revvier engine with a wider torque band.
MK1 Golf Sportline with G60 engine conversion. My own special blend charger and some nice OEM+ goodness.

i'm using the block from a 2.0 petrol t4 transporter, which is what tsr used.so the crank and pistons are from this ,engine code is AAC .I got this cheap 100 quid,it came with new piston rings and it had been honed recently.it also had a new clutch and the flywheel is a g60 jobbie. what about that for a coincidence.I have a spare head from a g60 anyway ,i got the block dipped so i'll be putting it together at some stage .I'm not hearing great reviews about the conversion but sure we'll throw it in and see.
