Time has come... new wheels... please help
Anyway, i'm looking to go from 17" down to 14-15" but it seems as though I'm still finding it hard to to find wheels that will fit.
I'm looking for deep dish alloys around 15", my car is not lowered. From looking at dubmeister and google images, I really like the Borbet T wheel, they come in 7x14" (et 25 or 35), 8x14" (et 20 or 15) or 7.5x16" and 9x16" (et 15).
Now, my car isn't lowered, nor are my arches rolled. Which wheel package would look the best and fit???
I love the pics of the 9x16" on the bmw e30 but I don't know if they will fit…. can people tell me about the et? and which of these wheel sizes I should get? I would lower the car accordingly after I have got new wheels (if required), and I can get arches rolled.
I also like the Steffan RS and the Steffan BCW… but again i havent a clue about sizes…
Can anyone help me…. Also if anyone is selling any of the wheels i mentioed, i would like to know…
Thank you

yes i do intend to drive it and the only reason i want new wheels is for more comfort… but at the same time, i still want wheels which make the car stand out…
ok 16s no good… what about 15s… (Ronal Turbo's, ATS cups)… would i be able to go for any width on those?
14 x 8s look good, i seen pics of the borbet T's on a corsa, but dont know if they would suit the golf, maybe they may look bit small…

Tian, those wheels look really good… even if i can't get those wheels, what is the size of those wheels (including width), so i know what to look for….

It seems as though 16s are no good, and even deep dish 15s give people problems (i've seen articles on here about ATS cups giving problems due to offset)…
And i've seen some nice pics of 14s especially Steffan RS, BCW and borbet T… so lets say i go for 14s and then drop the car accordingly…
what widths? i've seen pictures of a golf cabby with 8x14s on the front and 9x14s on the rear?? can't get much choice of offset in these sizes, theres et 15 and et 20. on the 7x14inch rim theres et 24….
Any opinions on this… i need to make a decision…

Fit standard wheels?
I've got 15x7 on my car with et38 and have no issues with rubbing or anything. It's also sitting 40mm lower too.
I think TOTR wheels are the same but the rears might be 7.5 inches, not sure.
As for standard rims it's not a bad idea really. A nice set of polished Rivage wheels is always nice to see.
