throttle body AGAIN!

Know all about the conversion except which audi i need to get the throttle body from year/model so it fits straight on with no mods except enlarging the inlet manifold. (search dosent go into the models i can get the throttle body from)

Any 5 cylinder Audi should be ok for the throttle body. Also try and get the WUR as well as these respond to sudden throttle openings by the vacuum created in the inlet manifold. They connect up to the inlet manifold vac pipe.

wondered if any other vw/audi model would also be a straight forward swap?
Have my eye on the WUR from the 5 cylinder at the moment!
Where exactly does the vaccum take off attatch to on the inlet manifold?

A couppe of options exist for the connection. the best place to take it from would be the spare take off point on the vacuum hose feed to the brake servo, just off from the inlet manifold itself. you should find a spare hole wich has a little green plug covering the hole. Remove the plug and use some std vacuum hose to link it to the Audi WUR.  :wink:
