super charging a mk1 1.3

is the 1983 mk1 golf 1.3 engine the same block a the polo G40, if so is it easyer to change engins or prep and forge the original engine and drop a G40 charger on it,
would a G60 charger fit?

I believe the Polo uses a different block.

Easier to get a complete polo unit and drop it in… Not the easiest of conversions aparently. Need to fabricate a gear box mount to utilise the Mk1 chassis mounting point too.

IF you can get your hands on a polo g40 engine it will fit, it's the most powerful 1.3 vw made.

go on u no you want to use the g40 is built for it.
