Some advice on winter mods

Hi all

ive got a GTI with a 16v kr engine in, TSR front brake upgrade and some other mods. none to the body mind, dont worry!!

Its not my daily, i only plan on using it during the summer and autumn.

over winter ive got a few things id like to do and a few things i need to do to it!

the things i need to do are
Speedo cable
Sump Gasket
change of oil and filters
CV and steering boot replacement
clutch change - sachs bought

Now the interesting things that i want to do:
Change of suspension
i want good handling and good ride mostly but i would like it lower than standard, its currently got hottuning coilies on which i dont like! im torn between good springs and shocks e.g eibach and koni's or some good coilies like fk!

id like some advice on the suspension situation please.
