The mirrors on a Mk1 cabrio are the same as Mk1 Gti (and other higher spec tintop models) in terms of fitment - they're just colour coded versions.
Late Mk2 Golf (without quarterlights) are completely different fitment altogether.
Early Mk2 Golf (with quarterlights) have mirrors that will physically fit and work on a Mk1, but they don't sit at the correct angle on the car. They point upwards a bit and look odd as a result.
I know this as I tried Mk2 mirrors on my Caddy before switching to late cabrio colour coded versions (!)

Not sure to be honest. The ad is misleading as an '85 Golf would have had different mirrors to a '91 Golf (in the UK at least - could be different in Hong Kong). I don't think they will fit personally, but you might want to take the risk. I suppose you could sell them on again if they didn't.

Whether or not you think that they will look good or not (No, IMO), they won't fit properly on a 91 Cabrio mirror - the MK2 mirrors have a relatively flat area on their lead surface, whereas the Cabrio/Mk1 GTI/Mk1 GL ones have a curved, relatively pointed profile, as well as a differently shaped edge to their frame.

The early Mk2 mirrors are actually v.similar to the Mk1 mirrors (non-flag type) in both look and profile, although the angle of mounting is different. The late Mk2 ones are completely different altogether. Trouble is, the years stated in the advert covers both the early and late Mk2 mirrors (for UK cars at least), so you don't know if the covers will come close or not.
