Ribbed fan belt on kr conversion is it possible?????
Not sure if this is possible but, as the bottom pulley and water pump pulley are missing from my 16v kr thought i'd see if i could change them for the ribbed type as found on the later abf's etc.
If anyones got any info or links on this i'd be very grateful, i'm guessing if it is possible i'd need to use the abf alternator and water pump? but like i say i'm just guessing

I suppose its possible with enough parts adapted from eg the ABF, but what are your plans for fuel injection, and where are you locating the fuel metering head? And given that...where will your fuel lines be located?

can use setup from any 1.8-2.0 8v or 16v mk3, go for the early setup though with the big spring under the alternator. the later setup with the separate tensioner wheel will hit the chassis leg. waterpump is the same, just change the pulley over
you need the alternator, the bracket, spring, pulleys and all the studs/nuts etc. the pas stuff you dont need obviously. the only part that is 16v specific is the crank pulley, so that has to come off an abf engine.
