Reverse Steel Rims

I am looking to get some old style reverse steel rims to go o my mk1 golf because then I can keep it original looking and have nice chunky wide wheels that my mk1 can sit on

Just wondering wether anybody either has any of them or if anybody knows somewhere where you can get them from?

Cheers

Ummmmm…they're called reverse rims because they're simply the existing wheel, but fitted the wrong way round. So they're already on the car. I imagine the centre bit of the wheel and the edge of the bolt hole would need something doing to them to actually make them safe to fit. Then there's the bodywork rubbing and +70mm or so increase in offset, to cope with.

if you want chunky steelies then there are companies which widen them.

cant see the point personally with petrol prices the way there are, all that extra rubber on the road is surely more friction?

 :lmao:

Current MK1 rebuild elapsed time - 15 years and counting…
Is it normal to clean and paint bits of your car that will never be seen?
Not-so-new addition - 1996 MK1 Citi Golf (off the road for 4 years… and counting)
