Rear Brakes

Guys, I'm at present replacing all the brake pipes on my MK1 and have came to the point of the rear brake bias valve which seems totally seized up ( been on there since 1983 ). Has anyone tried by-passing this and just fitting the smaller rear wheel cylinders from the smaller engined Mk1's, I don't see why not ??? it's not as if I carry anything of any great weight in the boot anymore.Anyone got any ideas ??

cheers

Cero,

Why not just get another valve?  I'm sure I have a used one.

If the valve was not needed VW would not have fitted it!

Cheers
