Will Mk1 convertible front wings fit a Mk1 GTi tintop 1982?!

The answer is "maybe". What year are the convertible wings, because there's 2 variations, one with indicator holes and one without. That happened in about 1986/1987. The ones with indicator holes will physically fit the 1982 hatchback but these don't have side repeaters, leaving a big hole you'd need to blank off (welding), fill in, etc etc. So you'd need to find pre-86 convertible wings to make life simple.
