Proud owner of mk1 caddy... how to go about lowering it??

I am going to lower it with coil over?s on the front can any one tell me how hard this is to do?

In fact if anyone has any pics of them lowering there caddy?s or just of there lowered caddys!! Would be pretty cool to have a look.

Flip the rear axle and coilies at the front, for a good amount of slam. Due to the leaf springs at the back, its tricky to get a little lowering, by flipping you're kinda committed to 3-4" or whatever it is.

What do you need to haul or is it just for use as a car? If its low at the back, might not cope too well with livestock, fert, feeds etc.

cheers for the quick reply

i am just using the caddy as a car i have no real idea how to flip the back axle i know it has to go on top of the leaf springs.
i was going to try and do the coilies myself and maybe get some one else to do the back axle depending on how hard it is.

There's this coilover fitting guide for the cars, I think the Caddy front set up is the same :

you cant lower the front suspension no more than about 100mm as the drive shaft fouls the chassis leg,  but fitting small tyres on small wheels also lower it no end.
