Power Steering

Is this possible using any standard VAG parts.

I'm aware there was an old TSR kit seemingly derived from a Cab setup - could anyone enlighten me if this is do-able or is a fab job borrowing from a different setup - the intention would be using a 1.8T with associated P/S pump and running the feeds to the rack

Ta, how much are these worth (not got ebay access just now)

as far as I know they only made thme for LHD cabby's so a RHD would fetch a lot, you can convert them from a certain steering rack, i can't remember out of what car, think it's a polo!

As you may know power steering was never available as a option in the RHD MK1 Golf and this has been made by a company to allow the steering to be lighter on the mk1

The car it was removed from had only covered 49,000 miles so has obviously covered less than this!"

Wonder if it was a bodged effort or TSR job - does it have long to run?
