Porsche Fuchs on a MK1 golf

Hello my name is Erik! I just joined and I am planning out what I will do to my MK1. I haven't bought the car yet but I am trying to learn all I can first and plan out exactly what I would like to do. One of the things I would really like to do is to put porsche Fuchs wheels on the car. But I beleive that this would require modifications. I would appretiate hearing from anyone who could enlighten me on this! Thank you! Sorry if I spell incorrectly, I am from Sweden : )
