poly engine mount insert - where does it go please???

got these two poly engine inserts..about to put a 1.8 16v engine into my mk1 but cant work out where 1 or both of these inserts go?
any help much apreciated!
where's it go / hows it fit?

im sure they slide into the drivers side mount and gearbox the one on the left looks like the driver  side just see if they push in thats how my one came out

i found that neither of em fitted my mounts! i didnt bother in the end, just went for the old sides, new oem rear and just used the poly front. worked plenty good enough in my 16v cabby

got the poly rear mount - its much larger than the oem rear mount -
the original rear mount has (when brackets removed) has two metal plates attatched to either side of it -

However the poly bush does not have these metal plates - i'm presuming that the poly does not need these metal plates - metal plates dont seem to detatch from original

am i right??
