Please help me out some one!!

Hey can some one please help me!!!  

I have been trying to sort my Mk1 gti out but am unable to do it as I got injured overseas an my leg is half hanging off.  

Its a Mk1 gti with a Kr 16V conversion  from a corrado I think .
She is not running right at all. checked all the usual stuff with the ignintion but still no luck. she is missing at 3000rpm and now and then the power just drops off as if some one switched off the ignition while I'm going along and to get her going again you have to dump the clutch wait till she stalls then bump her in as she's rolling  or turn the key of and on again, the wiring looks pretty all over the shop but god know's where to start, its got loads of new stuff like leads dizzy cap distributor :dontknow:  

I have tryed to find a specialist garage near me but no one can help me or they are too busy.

so if anyone can give me a hand or put me in touch with some one or a decent garage or maybe the local club or club members in my aria ( I'm in Abergavenny south wales) it would be much apreciated

Hi pal might pay to check the wiring for obvious bodging or breaks ,this could also be related to the fuel pump cutting in and out so check the wiring to the pump and replace the relay .This sort of problem can be tricky if the conversion hasnt been carried out properly but ive given u a couple of areas to check hope it helps
