One for Rub Johnny or anybody who can help...

Hi, this is probably a good question for rub jonny as he seems to be the man for electrical questions, but any help is gratefully received!!!

I have nearly finished my wiring loom for my 20vT conversion but I am at the point of putting in the 33 ohm resistor for the coolant temp gauge. I have found them on eBay but does it matter what wattage it states?

Will 1 watt 33 ohm resistors be fine?

try it without first! on the first loom i did for a guy on here he had to remove the resistor before gauge would work! i hear new genuine sensors work direct with mk1/2/3 dash, the older ones needed a resistor. no idea how that works but there you go
