Oil EVERYWHERE! ABF in Mk1 Breather pipe open to air...

Bought a car with an ABF engine fitted.

There's breather pipe that has no pipe on it!

Choices:  Do I simply run it to a catch tank, or what would happen if I fed it into a Y pipe fitted to the pipe behind it that runs back into the inlet tract?

yes, that's correct, but if you tug to hard to the left, it may cause an irreverseable bend. wouldn't want one of those
