NEW / REPLACEMENT CLIPPER FILLER NECK - do they exist?!?!

hi hi hi again All,
finally worked out why am constantly getting &*^% in the fuel line,its the
rotten filler neck.
have seen Wee Tony's superb post on replacing them,but before can get
that far need to get my hands on one.neither GSF or Whites have them
any more,am loathe to go down to Bridges and spend ages getting what turns out to be another duff one off a wreck.
any comments/advice/addresses/ anything appreciated,this problem is
making the car virtually unuseable,have had the sender unit out and done
the magnet trick with plumbers tool,got out of LOAD of rusty metal,but just
cannot trust it for a long haul or anywhere hilly     
maybe i should just move to Holland?!?  :dontknow:

last October for stock,"problems at the factory" he said,and "try german swedish".

That ebay one looks fine, but exhaust all options from a know parts supplier first I reckon.

I got one no problem from Euro Car Parts, ?27 but a lot of places I rang were out of stock - they genuinely do seem to be in short supply - GSF and Quiff were both out.

Try ringing them they were actually really helpful, though they took some convincing that it was gonna fit!

Buy the cheaper one and adapt that using the guide on the site .

  

We bought an fleabay one for my other halfs clipper, fit was terrible!!, even when I made it fit the filler cap sat at a dodgy angle.
You could make it fit well with a lot of hassle/bending rewelding etc or do as we did and get an original from vw.
Downside to a vw one?…..?140 8O , even the parts guy at our dealer was shocked!
