New Dashboard

I'm looking at what dashboards will fit in to the Mk1 and came across the SA CitiGolf. Apparently, that uses the dashboard from a Skoda Fabia and it looks pretty good. 8O

Has anyone fitted a Fabia dashboard over here or seen it done?

What are the other options? Old BMW 3 Series, Mk2, Mk3, Corrado, Polo Mk4…. any others?

Are there any companies that will do these dash conversions?

I know its styled like a modern dashs, but is it actually the fabia dash?. I would have thought a fabia is larger than a mk1....

just for interest - I've got a Mk3 dash (no clocks etc, just the dash) in perfect condition which is FREE to anyone who wants to collect it from Lancaster. Currently on Fleabay for 99p, Otherwise, it goes in the skip…

Yep, it's definately the Fabia dash. I've checked the pics and it's a match + the CitiGolf entry in Wikipedia confirms it.

So…. who's put one in before?

intrested to see if anyone has had any joy with this mod aswell as im pondering it myself only real concern is hooking up the speedo correctly and heater switches. if anyone can shed any light it would be much appreciated
