NEEDED - Idiots Guide to a Brake Conversion

Does anyone have one as my mechanical skills are not that great and I would like to try and undertake this conversion mysef.

Also what parts will I need? and where can I get these from i.e. new or used. I notice C&R do a conversion kist for ?250 is this good value.
