had my warm up regulator modified to allow more fuel in but its still not enough.
had it on the rolling road today but its only getting 130bhp
running to lean at 5000rpm and they tell me i need more fuel.
was told to get a mk2 16v warm up regulator and then i could maybe get 140bhp
what have you guys and gals done to fuel your cars for 140+bhp

I'll do my best to explain:
A V-SAM Pro is a unit that was developed to be a method of allowing people running the K-Jet fuel and igntion system (So clearly for early VW's) to adjust the fuelling and ignition systemt to:
A) improve driveability
B) to allow for performance tuning which would require a degree of control over the fuel and igniton curve.
The V-Sam Pro allows the user to adjsut both fuel and ignition via PC based software maps. The std V-SAM only allows adjustment of the ingition, where as the PRO verison has an osiclating valve that you plumb into the WUR side and this then (dependant on which way you connect it) will allow fo reither weakening or rcihening fo the mixtire across the rev range. So for eample you could keep the std fueling up to 400orpm, then dial in a percentage to add adidtional fuel every 500rpm for example.
the igntion side again is based on a map, and can adjust the igntion. This would allow for example a MK2 Disi to be used wiht the MK1 as this has no bobbin weights internally and terefore you can set the advance etc over the rev range via the map to suit the engine characteristics.
You do not need to chaneg the injection system you have as it plugs into the HAll sender in the scuttle for igntion control, and into the fuel side at the metering head for fuel control.
I have the software that allows you to dispaly and adjust the fuel and igntion maps, the lead to connect the PC to the V-Sam Pro unit, and also various maps for various cars including MK1 GTi's, 16v's, and corrado's as it was popular for fettling fuel and ignition without major mods.
The units whenthey were new were around ?400 to buy, this was with no lead, no software, but I have this as well so you can play wiht the system yourself.
Price wise, sensible offers I suppose, its on my garage wall, I have never got round to fitting to my car hence the reason for the sale (going down the megasquirt route possibly). Pm me what you woudl pay and we can go from there. I can take some piccies of it for you as well if you like.
Hope this helps explain what it is, any probs or quesions let me know. Oh and a google search will turn up some info on the them for you as well
PS: sorry for the typos
