My mk1 doesnt have a parcle shelf ?

What car can i adapt one from ?

Would it not be easier to either pick one up from a breakers/eBay or maybe make your own from some mdf etc?

you might aswell just buy an original mk1 golf shelf mate

Just do like me and strip the interior! that way you could see it as a bonus as there would be one less bit to take out!  

ring the guy at the mk1 emporium, hes a mod on this site, he sold me my shelf at less than half price of ebay ones, and he was a nice guy.
