MK2 vacuum central locking into a mk1

is it possible to fit a mk2 stock central locking kit into a mk1? theres plenty of them down at the local scrappy, and i'm wanting to stick some central locking into my caddy the cheap way :)

i know the actuators and the pump n' pipes would be needed obviously, but is there anything that fits into the fusebox, such as a relay or something?

cheers guys,
lee.

I had vaccum CL on my Mk3 Golf and it was crap. Slow to open/close. Was a 4 door and it kind of opened each door in sequence, not all at once. There was a pump thing in the boot if I remember right. I'd go for elec CL any day. Should find loads of cars with that in the scrappy. Easier to connect up as well.
Cheers,
Mark.

My MK2 has electric CL, but to be honest is's not that reliable! Sometimes 1 or 2 doors don't lock even though the solenoids are working every time. Not sure how common electric CL on the MK2's though, and i've no idea what the wiring does once it goes in to the dash :?
