mk2 throttle body

anyone installed one? i could do with some tips on what i need to do... cheers... josh

The throttle cable connection is on the wrong side. Hence why people use Audi throttle bodies. I think its possible to take it to bits and swap it over so its the right way round for the Mk1 install, but I don't know how. It won't give any more power on its own, it complements other mods (cam, head port & polish, 4 branch exhaust) though.

should increase airflow if i port the inlet manifold and also improve throttle response. i already have the throttle body so ill start on it tommorow and let you all know.

Will only improve airflow if the original body is the major restriction.
