mk2 gti brakes on mk1 citi

anybody know if these will go straight on, calipers and disks??  what else would i need? the brakes are from a 1991 mk2 valver.

the car i want to fit them to is my 1994 mk1 citi  1.3(ive since put a 1.8 in it.

need more stoping power!!

The mk2 mounting hole pitch is different. Your options are either 239mm vented brakes from the mk1 Gti, 256mm vented brakes using Audi calipers or 16V Astra/Cavalier calipers, or 280mm vented brakes using an adapter bracket and either the mk2 Golf 16V caliper or VR6 caliper, I forget which.

most of that went right past me. what carriers??

The 239mm setup uses standard carriers, the 256mm option requires Audi 80 carriers or modified Vauxhall carriers (see this thread).
