Mk2 Central locking into mk1 - help!

right,

i managed to get hold of a mk2 C/L set up from a scrappy,

i have fitted it all in, all looks very tidy factory fitted some might say []

i have two questions:

from the switch in the drivers door, the three wires come from that, there is then a junction where one of the wires splits off, this then splits in to two!? what are these for, i know the are 12V, but why are there two?

ignition and constant live???

my other question is in regards to how i use the vac pump to unlock the boot, it doesnt look like its possible?? has any one done it before???
