Who knows, tsr told me that it was a vag rack, not that i realy believe them   maybe take it into a motor factors and see if they can match it up, some of these places often the ones run by the more experienced will be realy helpful

Why do you need to replace the UJ, which part is a problem.

TSR used the top of the Mk1 UJ and welded a different lower part, If the lower part of yours is OK then maybe you could get it cut off, drilled and welded to another Mk1 upper part.

well basically, i had modified the the steering column with and uprated to a mk4 item, because i'm running a 1.8T lump, due to the immobiliser i was going to install the complete loom, clocks incoporating the immobiliser. But since then i've had the ecu de-imobilised, therefore i don't need to run the loom or the clocks or the column. But i do need to install a Corrado column. This is why i need the uj, because i one-way fabricated it to fit, Why do some of you feel its nissan item?
Does it look similar in mounting points to mk1 unit?

Not surprised, they charged sky high prices, and apparently (someone on this forum has mentioned it) their quality of workmanship didn't meet customer's expectations.

Still, they will be missed as they were a source for some tuning items, eg 16V Mk1 manifolds.

You dont actualy need to run the corrado pedal box and column, you can use your original and either use mechanical clutch (you can buy the gearbox mech off the shelf ?40 from vw) or you can mount the clutch master cylinder onto your existing pedalbox with some simple work  :)

No need for any overpriced TSR tat, Storm Developments do a better manifold for less money, i have one and its superb.

was going to say,

Theres still Ashleys, Storms (same but S/S), Supersprint…

The UJ in concern is the Nissan U11 UJ.
