DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THE MK1 POLO WAS MADE WITH A DIESEL ENGINE. WOULD IT FIT A MK1 GOLF.

looks well smart mate, i was going to fit my classics on my mk1 too, have you lowered the car at all, if so by how much and what size are your wheels i have 8's on the back and 7's (wide) on the front, also what are your tyre sizes?

I have lowered by 40mm , my rims are 13x7 all round and i am running with 185 .60 .13 tyres .

I kept it simple as need to run the car sometimes with passengers and didn't want any clearance problems . Also leaving the GTI style arch covers off the wheel arches make it look nice and fat looking  8)
