mk1 GTi TDi info please

Hey all.
  I am in the process of planning a engine conversion into a mk1 golf.  This will be a daily driver and with the price of petrol, id rather have a diesel….

  I understand that the newer tdi engines have around 150bhp?  im thinking about fitting one of these engines…  

  I did have a quick look through this forum for any prior posts about this, but i dont really have time to look through all 100,000,000….. posts.

any ideas, websites, info, or even anyone whou has made this conversion already.  pros and cons perhaps
