How to build your own

I want to make up my own "raised top mounts" im handy with a welder so that part isnt a problem.

just wondering how people actually make these? and what sort of rubber mounts do they use.

i was planning on using the metal plate from my stock top mount, cutting it flat and welding on the tube.

anyone else make these? got any pictures?

thanks alot
Andrew

Coltechs been doing them long enough and has many satisfied customers.

And for the cost, I reckon you'll break even trying methods/rectification.

The rear drop plates do yourself though, in my opinion its expensive for a 12mm plate drilled 8 times….

I have Coltechs raised mounts And drop plates. Best thing I've done to the car, it's very! Low and still comfortable. And the drop plates he makes also centre the rear wheels in the arch rather than lowering them and them moving forwards.
