coz what i was thinking about doing is buying a 1.3 mk1 golf then looking for a audi s3 salvage car then ill have all the running gear and stuff do you think u could make the golf a 4x4 wheel drive ?

you could do that anything is possible but there would be a lot of work and i mean alot for the 4 wheel drive system!!!!! also you would have to move the mount on a 1.3 straight off so there s a bit more work straight away

best off buying a mk1 gti because 1.1/1.3's are getting hard to come buy and most of the time more exspensive than a gti. Plus theres no engine mounts having to be moved around like u would have to do with a small block mk1. 4wd = alot of time and money but if u have alot of money and time then go for it
