MK1 GOLF 1.8 16V KR ENGINE!!

Hi guys and girls!!

I am putting a 1.8 16v lump im my cabby but just after a little advice??!!

What is the best way of pumping the fuel from the tank??

Inline or Intank pump??

And does the engine drop straight in with no mods in the engine bay??

what engine u got in there at the mo

I have a Cabrio GL but someone dropped in a 1.6 MK2 Engine so running mechanical pump etc!!

Im still using my carb tank, (1300 Driver), with a late cab sender unit, and lift pump in the tank, feeding the k-jet pump.

oh so it can be done then!! The electronics side of things is the big i am gonna struggle with to be fair!!

see ur 1.6 mk2 engine is it 8v 0r 16v

There isn't a 1.6 16V Mk2 Golf engine, the KR is 1.8.
