this is what i found hope it helps
car/ year stud size depth disc part pad part
g60 disc 4 280 22 2712 571 they also did a 5 stud
astra 04+ 4 280 25 3933 1861
passat 05 4 same as old g60 as above
combo 01 4 260 24 3569 1676
meriva 4 280 25 3989 1861
theres a couple of veriations, hope this helps, and sorry cant remeber who had asked me to look this up
i can get all these parts if you need them, pm me for prices etc
i can also look up other stuff relating to breaks, also have auto data if anyone needs other info
only 2 tools needed, wd40 & ducktape, if its stuck,wd40. if it needs sticking,duck tape ;p

Would you be able to get everything need for a g60 280mm front disk conversation for my '83 driver?

i am waiting on the prices for the above stuff to came to me, as soon as they get back to me i will post them up on here,it will be all trade prices as im good like that

G60 280mm disks 2X
right front g60 calliper
left front g60 calliper
2 sets of matching brake pads
and a mk1 - 280mm G60 conversion kit. Any good?

the g60 plates would be ideal but the stock plates can be flatend to do the job but even when hammered flat there only about 270mm if my memory is right, its been a while since ive look at the brakes, but i will be doing a converstion very soon as im converting my 1.8 vlipper to 1.9 tdi, keep checking my build tread its a bit slow at the moment as my back is fooked but i will hopfully be pushing on with it each week end
i have in the past modded a set of back plates from a charlton 3.0 24v or 3000 as more commonly know, as these run 288mm disc on the front, the senitors 3.0 24v also run 298mm disc on front
