mk1 disc up grade info

hi guys some one on here asked me to look in to some disc up grades, mainly the 4 stud g60 discs

this is what i found hope it helps

g60 disc 4 280 22 2712 571 they also did a 5 stud

astra 04+ 4 280 25 3933 1861

passat 05 4 same as old g60 as above

theres a couple of veriations, hope this helps, and sorry cant remeber who had asked me to look this up

only new stuff, i can disc and pads same day usaly , my supplier my be able to get the calipers etc, if you give me a list of what you want i can see about getting prices for you, might be able to find some other parts that might do the job, i will look into it a bit more when i have the time,
i am waiting on the prices for the above stuff to came to me, as soon as they get back to me i will post them up on here,it will be all trade prices as im good like that

Well i'd be after:
 G60 280mm disks 2X
right front g60 calliper
left front g60 calliper
2 sets of matching brake pads
and a mk1 - 280mm G60 conversion kit. Any good?

right, the disc and pads i will get a price on, and im lookimg in to some alternitve calippers and backing plates that may do the job but be a lot cheaper as the g60 calliper converstion brackets are very exspence, bare with me a week or so and im hoping to have a complete kit put together,im looking to do the say to my mk1 clipper as im doing a tdi converstion, i will let you know as soon as i can, will post prices and info in here

Also, what would you suggest about back plates for a '83 driver running 280mm G60 breaks? Would stock backing plates do the trick?

the g60 plates would be ideal but the stock plates can be flatend to do the job but even when hammered flat there only about 270mm if my memory is right, its been a while since ive look at the brakes, but i will be doing a converstion very soon as im converting my 1.8 vlipper to 1.9 tdi, keep checking my build tread its a bit slow at the moment as my back is fooked but i will hopfully be pushing on with it each week end

i have in the past modded a set of back plates from a charlton 3.0 24v or 3000 as more commonly know, as these run 288mm disc on the front, the senitors 3.0 24v also run 298mm disc on front
