mk1 16v conversion

Hi all
I own a mk1 started its live as 1.5 on carbs moved onto 1.8 on a weber. More than happy with the car outside put when i pop the bonnet its a bit disapointing. Was at gti international this year and put the idea in my head for a new plant thinking of a 16v on bike carbs. I have already found a donor mk2 1.8 16v, r1 carbs, waiting for a member to get back on possibly making me an inlet manifold and will probley buy an exhaust manifold from tsr. Is there any think else might come up that i might need or need to know ?  Is it one in one out ?

Pretty straight forward really… Straight in with it. Just need an external fuel pump by weber or summat or the one off the bike.

Brakes would be the only other concern.

16v or G60 setup would be best (dont forget the hubs too)

use 280 caliper adaptors, mk2 hubs arnt a direct swap for the MK1, can mess up the geometry and they dont fit into mk1 shocks without mods
